rgb Color Space/h2>
An rgb color space is any additive color space based on the rgb color model. A particular rgb color space is defined by the three chromaticities of the red, green, and blue additive primaries, and can produce any chromaticity that is the triangle defined by those primary colors. The complete specification of an rgn color space also requires a white point chromaticity and a gamma correction curve.
Adobe rgb Color Space
The Adobe rgb Color Space was designed to encompass most of the colors achievable on cmyk color printers, but by using rgb primary colors on a device such as a computer display. Adobe rgb Color Space encompasses roughly 50% of the visible colors specified by the Lab color space, improving upon the gamut of the sRGB color space primarily in cyan-greens.

Build quality color workflows with Adobe® icc profiles.
Adobe wants to enable consistent, high-quality color workflows. For color workflows to succeed, color information must be shared by many people, from original creator to final publisher. For this reason, we are supplying our ICC profiles as a free download for graphics professionals to use across their workflows.

icc Profiles
icc Profile is a set of data used to characterize a color input/output device, or a color space, as defined by the Internatioal Color Consortium (icc). icc Profiles describe the color attributes of a particular device or viewing requirement by defining a mapping between the device source or target color space and a profile connection space (pcs).
Adobe rgb vs. sRGB
sRGB is the world's default color space.
sRGB gives better, more consistent results providing the same, or brighter, colors.
Adobe rgb theoretically can represent a wider gamut of colors.
Note: Adobe rgb should only be used by professionals, who are also doing their own printing.
scRGB
scRGB is a wide color gamut rgb color space that uses the same color primaries and white/black points as the sRGB color space but allows coordinates below zero and greater than one. scRGB's full range is -0.5 to less than +7.5.
