CSS Media Types
A css property definition specifies which media types apply; properties generally apply to several media types. Each property definition has an Applies to media section, which lists media groups rather than individual media types. The property applies to all media types in the media groups listed in its definition. The following media groups are defined in css 2.1:
- continuous or paged
- visual, audio, speech, or tactile
- grid (for character grid devices), or bitmap
- interactive (for devices that allow user interaction), or static (for those that do not)
