{-ms-wrap-through} Trident Vendor-Prefixed Property | CSS: Presentation Layer

Standards Based Development

-ms-wrap-through is a Trident vendor-prefixed property for css Exclusions and Shapes. -ms-wrap-through gets or sets a value that specifies how content should wrap around an exclusion element.

-ms-wrap-through can be used to control the effect of exclusions, like causing one content block to wrap around an exclusion element and another intersect the same exclusion element.

The wrapping context of a box is a collection of exclusion areas contributed by its associated exclusion boxes. When a Windows Store app using JavaScript lays out a web document, a box wraps its inline flow content in the area that corresponds to the subtraction of wrapping context from its own content area.

wrap

The exclusion element inherits its parent node's wrapping context. Its descendant inline content wraps around exclusions defined outside the element.
