{white-space} White Space Property | CSS: Presentation Layer
Standards Based Development
The white-space property controls the handling of whitespace inside an element.
Note: white-space only handles whitespace characters.
white-space specifies two things:
- whether and how white space inside the element is collapsed
- whether lines may wrap at unforced soft wrap opportunities
white-space Property Values
white-space property value meanings must be interpreted according to the white space processing and line breaking rules.
