Opera Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows — For Windows Substitute ⌘ with Ctrl. Substitute Ctrl for Windows. Home navigates to the top of the page. End navigates to the bottom. Ctrl+Shift ⇧+X quits the browser.

Combined Search and Address Bar

The combined search and address bar:

Navigates your browser to web addresses you type (for example, 'www.opera.com').
Allows you to query popular search engines and websites, like Google and Amazon.
Shows you information about pages you visit (for example, 'Secure connection').
Lets you quickly save content to your Speed Dial or Stash.
Predictive search suggestions appear below the combined search and address bar as you type, and can be filtered by search engine tabs on the lower-right.

Opera Link, it's fast and easy to synchronize your favorites between your phone and your computer.

How to use Opera Link

Opera Link on a desktop, click on the cloud icon in the lower left corner of the browser window, then select "Enable synchronization" and log in with your Opera account.

Opera Link using Opera Mini on a phone or tablet, go to Menu > Settings > Opera Link, and then log in from there.

Once activated, Opera Link will synchronize your favorite stuff from any device where you've logged in to the browser. Opera Link updates automatically whenever you make changes to your Speed Dial or add a new bookmark.

From link.opera.com, you can always access your favorite sites - even if you're using another browser!

Save sets of tabs

When you have a set of tabs or windows open in Opera, you can save them as a "session" to use later. This allows you to open all the tabs or windows you had open when you start the browser, or while browsing.

You can have Opera launch with the tabs you had open when you last closed the browser, or go directly to a previously saved session, Speed Dial or your home page. Go to Settings > Preferences > General and select from the startup drop-down list. If you want to choose every time you launch Opera, enable the start-up dialog. Note that the start-up dialog will always be displayed after Opera has been forced to close or otherwise has quit unexpectedly.

Tip: Try starting with no pages if you have problems starting Opera.

To save a session of tabs or windows to use later on or for a particular purpose, go to Tabs and Windows > Sessions and name the session to identify it. The next time you want to view this set of tabs or windows, return to this menu option and select the saved session from the list.
