Safari Extensions

Safari extensions provide a way to add features to the Safari browser. Through Safari extensions you can add custom buttons to the Safari toolbar, create unique bars, add contextual menu items, display content in bars or tabs, and inject scripts and style sheets into web documents.

In Safari 5.1 and up, it is possible to add menus and popovers to toolbar items.
